North Phantom Plaza

North Phantom Plaza is an after-hours 1980s shopping mall on two floors. It is built around a central atrium and a wishing fountain.

The mall has a food court, an arcade, shops, a cinema upstairs and plain back rooms for staff.

Areas

The mall is split into four wings. Each wing has one accent color on its signs and trim, and the same split applies on both floors. Follow the colors to know where you are.

Hub wing (teal)

The entrance vestibule and the atrium. Upstairs, the Overlook Lounge looks down on the middle of the mall.

West wing (orange)

The arcade, the security office, the food court and the service corridor. Upstairs are the cinema, a record shop and a shoe shop.

East wing (sky blue)

A news shop, a fashion shop and East Court. Upstairs are an electronics shop, a fitness shop and a toy shop.

North wing (yellow)

The back row of shops, the north walk and the North Concourse, with a florist, a home store, restrooms and storage. Upstairs are a photo shop, a party store and a salon.

The upper floor is a ring corridor called Upper Level. Some upstairs shops are open and some are sealed.

Things to know

  • Wishing fountain. It sits in the atrium with a pool full of coins, a pink neon strip, animated water and four benches around it.
  • Glass elevator. It is out of service. The doors are closed, hazard tape is across them and a cone stands inside. Workers cannot ride it, but the Phantom can fly into the shaft.
  • Entrance gate. It closes behind Workers when they arrive.
  • Directory kiosks. Look for them around the mall.
  • Cash registers. Shops have tills. Opening 3 in one round earns the Loose Change achievement.
  • No piano. The toy piano lives in Hotel Phantasma.

Hiding and searching tips

The mall has many hiding spots for the cursed shape. Shops, vending machines and planters are the kind of props a shape can blend into. Workers can check them first.
